How can I change the conditions of the service or cancel it?
The change of conditions and cancellation of the service is subject to the status of the request in question. LUGGit support team will always be available to suppress any exceptional needs and make sure you will always have your luggage where and when you need it.
What is the LUGGit service?
LUGGit provides a luggage service that includes collection, storage and delivery, wherever and whenever you want in the cities of Lisbon and Porto. The service is done by LUGGit Keepers (dedicated drivers). The LUGGit service can be booked through the website, or requested in real time through the mobile application, which is available on Android and IOS, and can be downloaded from the Play Store or the App Store.
If there is a problem with my luggage, what happens?
In the event of a problem with luggage, LUGGit support team must be contacted promptly, in order to resolve the situation. If necessary, the insurance will be activated.
How does the service works?
After confirming the service, a Keeper will be assigned to you. At the indicated time, Keeper will collect your luggage at the location defined as the pick-up point, store it for the desired time and deliver outback to you, at the delivery place chosen. You will, also, always have access to the location of your luggage and a direct contact line with Keeper.
How can I pay for the service?
The payment of the service is made through a debit/credit card number, either on the website or mobile application. If for any reason you can not pay for the service with a debit/credit card reach the LUGGit support team.
Is there any insurance for the luggage?
Each bag is insured within 500€. You have the possibility to activate the Premium insurance when requesting the service, which ensures each bag at 1200€. Be aware that LUGGit is not responsible for the contents of the luggage, only about its transportation and wherebouts.
How is luggage security guaranteed?
Upon collection, the Keeper will seal each bag with a buckle that contains a unique QR code. Keeper will then scan these QR codes with the Application, ensuring that it is possible to track the luggage throughout the entire service.
How do I request a service on the app?
In the application, there is an interactive tutorial that explains in detail how you can request the service. In short, you must clarify: where you want your luggage to be collected (Pick up location) and delivered (Drop location); the date, day and time of delivery, and how many bags will be transported. The request confirmation is made with the payment of the service.
How do I use a promo code?
If you have a promo code, it can be used when you are requesting the service, just before payment.
Which hygiene procedures are adopted during the service?
Due to the pandemic situation, LUGGit has stipulated a set of procedures that aim to ensure the safety of everyone involved. This procedure includes all the standards defined by national and global health entities, as well as a disinfection procedure for every luggage. The full hygiene procedure can be consulted here.
